I looked all over the internet for a display dome like this one. None other was found. Most domes sit on some sort of dull-looking wooden base. In contrast, this dome, on its lacquered, polished brass plated spun steel base, compliments the model perfectly. The base offers the visually stunning effect of bright brass highlight for the model above. A good show in every way.
